These Chocolate Cherry Drop Scones look and taste oh-so impressive — and are quite simple to make. Fluffy biscuit dough is sprinkled with sugar, chopped cherries and HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips, then drizzled with a sweet glaze. Tart and sweet!

    light corn syrup
  • 1 fl. oz.
    water
  • SCONES
  • 5 lbs.
    buttermilk biscuit mix
  • 4 oz.
    sugar
  • 1 lb.
    frozen dark sweet cherries, pitted, thawed, coarsely chopped and well drained
  • 1 lb. 8 oz.
    HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips (Item# 14122)
  • 40 fl. oz.
    cold water

Bake 7 to 9 minutes* (do not over bake) - under bake just slightly for a soft texture. Remove from oven; cool 2 minutes. Remove from sheet pans to wire rack.

Tip

Step 4: If using convection oven, rotate scones one-half turn (180°) after 5 minutes of baking.
