What's better than a bite of cookie dough? Having a whole dessert bar of it! This recipe for Cookie Dough Bars, featuring HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, will satisfy any guests who love trying a little dough out of the mixing bowl at home.
Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Unroll and stack the 4 pie crusts on lightly floured surface. Roll to a 15-by-21-inch rectangle. Fit and press into one ungreased 13x18-inch half sheet pan so that crust comes up the sides and hangs over slightly. Trim and crimp edges.
Mix butter in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated. Blend together sugar and additional flour in large bowl. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until well blended. Stir in HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Spread evenly into prepared crust.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes* or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2-inch squares; cut squares diagonally in half to form a triangle.**
Step 3: If using convection oven, rotate pan one-half turn (180°) after 25 minutes of baking. Bars may be cut into 1-1/2 x 1-1/2-inch squares for bites. Makes 88 cookie dough bites.
