  • 9-1/3 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Natural Cocoa
  • 2 tsp.
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp.
    salt
  • 1 lb.
    chopped walnuts (optional)
  • CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING
  • 12 oz.
    salted butter, softened
  • 5-1/4 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Natural Cocoa
  • 4 fl. oz.
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 oz.
    vanilla extract
  • 2 lbs.
    powdered sugar
  • 4 to 9 fl. oz.
    milk
  • 96

Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Lightly spray one 18x26-inch full sheet pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place parchment paper on prepared pan. Place pan extender on prepared sheet pan.

Mix together butter, sugar and vanilla in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment until creamy. Add eggs, mixing until fully incorporated. Blend together flour, HERSHEY'S Cocoa, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until well blended. Stir in walnuts, if desired. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes* or until brownie begins to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Prepare CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING: Mix butter, HERSHEY'S Cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla together in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Add powdered sugar and milk, mixing until spreading consistency. Spread over brownies. Cut into 2-inch squares. Garnish with HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, if desired.

Tip

Step 3: If using convection oven, rotate pan one-half turn (180°) after 15 minutes of baking.
