  • CHOCOLATE CRUMB CRUST
  • 1 lb. 4 oz.
    vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 4-1⁄2 oz.
    powdered sugar
  • 4 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Cocoa, Natural (Item# 63505)
  • 9 oz.
    salted butter, melted
  • FILLING
  • Three (half-gallons)
    chocolate ice cream
  • Three (half-gallons)
    vanilla ice cream
  • 1 lb. 8 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, 4000 ct. (Item# 61225)
  • 1 lb.
    maraschino cherries, coarsely chopped and well drained

Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F).

Prepare CHOCOLATE CRUMB CRUST: Stir vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, HERSHEY'S Cocoa and melted butter in large bowl until combined. Equally divide crumb mixture into three (9-inch) pie pans. Press crumb mixture evenly on bottom and up sides of pie pans. Bake 8 minutes; cool.

Place both chocolate and vanilla ice creams in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Add HERSHEY'S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and maraschino cherries. Mix on low speed 1 minute only. DO NOT OVER MIX.* Evenly divide ice cream mixture into each prepared pie pan. Cover; freeze until firm. Makes 8 servings per pie.

Tip

Step 3: Over-mixing will result in an all-chocolate dessert. Pie should have a marbled appearance.
