Give your guests a taste of the unexpected with this duo of HERSHEY'S Cocoa and spice! Bake these easy and delicious Spicy Cocoa Glazed Pecans to add a unique spin on a classic snack. Perfect for a treat at the bar or on a grazing table, or feature them on a charcuterie board.
Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Lightly spray sheet pans with vegetable cooking spray. Place parchment paper on prepared sheet pans.
Stir together 1 lb. sugar and warm water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add pecans; let soak 10 minutes. Drain water and discard.
Blend together remaining 8 oz. sugar, HERSHEY'S Cocoa, chili powder and cayenne powder in large bowl. Add pecans; toss until all the cocoa mixture coats the pecans. Spread coated pecans on prepared sheet pans.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes* or until pecans start to glisten and appear dry. Stir occasionally while baking. Cool completely. Store in cool, dry place.
Step 4: If using convection oven, rotate pan one-half turn (180°) after 8 minutes.
