    baking soda
  • 1 lb. 5 oz.
    unsalted butter, melted and divided
  • 16 fl. oz.
    boiling water
  • 4 lbs.
    sugar
  • 14 oz. (8 large)
    eggs
  • 1 lb. 10 oz.
    all-purpose flour
  • 1⁄2 oz.
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp.

Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Lightly spray one 18x26-inch full sheet pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place parchment paper on prepared sheet pan.

Prepare DARK FUDGY BROWNIES: Blend together HERSHEY'S Cocoa and baking soda in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Mix on low speed 30 seconds. Gradually add 10-1/2 oz. (1-1/3 cups) butter, mixing until smooth. Add boiling water, mixing until mixture thickens. Add sugar, eggs and remaining butter, mixing until fully incorporated. Gradually add flour, vanilla and salt, mixing until well blended. Stir in HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes* or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Prepare SPECIAL DARK GANACHE: Place HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips and heavy cream in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 2 minutes; stir. If necessary, microwave an additional 30 seconds or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Pour over brownies. Refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes. Cut into 3-inch squares; cut squares diagonally in half to form a triangle shape. Garnish with fresh strawberry, if desired.

Tip

Step 3: If using convection oven, rotate sheet pan one-half turn (180°) after 15 minutes of baking.
