Sweet potatoes are the perfect spud to sweeten. This HEATH Toffee Sweet Potato Delight recipe adds HEATH Toffee Bits to your brown sugar to create a new dimension of goodness. Serve something special for your Thanksgiving or holiday dinner guests.

Ingredients & Directions


  • 8 fl. oz.
    orange juice
  • 6 oz.
    unsalted butter
  • 8 oz.
    light brown sugar
  • 12 oz.
    HEATH Toffee Bits, medium grind (Item# 60550)
  • 8 lbs.
    sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed*
  • 1 Tbsp.
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp.
    kosher salt
  • --
    Pecan pieces (optional)
  • --
    Additional HEATH Toffee Bits, medium grind (Item# 60550) (optional)



Combine orange juice, butter, brown sugar and HEATH Toffee Bits in large heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until HEATH Toffee Bits are melted (approximately 12 minutes).


Add sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Garnish with pecan pieces and additional HEATH Toffee Bits, if desired. Serve warm.


Step 2: Drained canned sweet potatoes can be substituted.
