Holy cannoli! This HERSHEY'S Chocolate Filled Cannoli recipe takes your favorite crispy Italian pastry shell and stuffs it full of HERSHEY’S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips! One bite and your guests will be shouting, “Bravissimo!”

    HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Chips
  • 2 oz.
    shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil)
  • 28 to 32
    prepared cannoli shells
  • 1 lb. 2 oz.
    ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb.
    sugar
  • 3-1⁄2 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Cocoa, Natural (Item# 63505)
  • 1 pt. (16 fl. oz.)
    heavy cream
  • 1 lb. 2 oz.
    Additional HERSHEY'S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, 4000 ct. (Item# 61225)

Line sheet pans with parchment paper.

Place HERSHEY'S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and shortening in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted when stirred.

Dip each end of cannoli shell into melted chocolate; shake gently to remove excess. Place on prepared sheet pans. Allow chocolate to set while preparing filling.

Blend ricotta cheese, sugar and HERSHEY'S Cocoa in 12 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment, mixing until well blended. Set aside. In 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with whisk attachment, mix heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in chocolate mixture until well combined. Spoon filling into pastry bag with an open tip. Chill 1 hour.

Pipe chocolate filling into cannoli shell. Dip each end of cannoli filling into additional HERSHEY'S Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
