  • 5 lbs.
    plain yellow cake mix (without pudding in the mix)
  • 1 lb. 10 oz.
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 lb. 14 oz.
    quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 32 fl. oz.
    REESE'S Peanut Butter Sauce (Item# 35031)



Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Lightly spray one 18x26-inch full sheet pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place parchment paper on prepared sheet pan.


Mix together cake mix (dry), butter and oats in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Mix on low speed 1 minute. Scrape bowl, continue to mix on low speed for an additional 1 minute.


Divide dough evenly in half (approximately 4 lbs. each). Press one half onto bottom of prepared sheet pan. Place REESE'S Peanut Butter Sauce in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute. Stir. Spread REESE'S Peanut Butter Sauce evenly over dough. Crumble reserved dough evenly over top of peanut butter; press down firmly.


Bake 25 to 30 minutes* or until top is golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2x3-inch bars.


Step 4: If using convection oven, rotate sheet pan one-half turn (180°) after 15 minutes of baking.
