Give your brownies a little extra "oomph." Fudgy brownies made with HERSHEY'S SIMPLY 5 Syrup and HERSHEY'S Cocoa are paired with a streusel topping containing HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.

  • 2 lbs.
    granulated sugar
  • 1 lb. 12 oz. (16 large)
  • 32 fl. oz.
    HERSHEY'S Simply Syrup, Jug (Item# 30571)
  • 1 lb. 4 oz.
    all-purpose flour
  • 7 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Cocoa, Natural (Item# 63525)
  • 1 lb. 8 oz.
    light brown sugar
  • 5 oz.
    all-purpose flour
  • 8 oz.
    salted butter
  • 9 oz.
    quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 lb. 8 oz.
    HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, 1000 ct. (Item# 61125)



Heat convection oven to 300°F (standard oven: 350°F). Lightly spray one 18x26-inch full sheet pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place parchment paper on prepared sheet pan.


Prepare BROWNIES: Mix melted butter and granulated sugar in 20 qt. bowl of mixer fitted with paddle attachment until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, blending after each addition. Add HERSHEY'S Simply Syrup, mixing until fully incorporated. Blend together flour and HERSHEY'S Cocoa in large bowl. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.


Prepare STREUSEL: Stir together brown sugar, flour, butter, oats and HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips in large bowl. Using your fingers, a fork or a pastry cutter, work the butter into dry ingredients until crumbs are formed. Sprinkle evenly over batter in prepared pan. Press down firmly.


Bake 30 to 45 minutes* or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2-1/2-inch bars.


Step 4: If using convection oven, rotate sheet pan one-half turn (180°) after 20 minutes of baking.
