Give this favorite after-school snack an update with YORK Peppermint Patties. Crisp rice cereal and marshmallows combine with the cool and creamy taste of YORK Minis Peppermint Patties for a treat that kids and adults alike will love.

Ingredients & Directions


  • 3 lbs.
    crisp rice cereal
  • 1 lb. 8 oz.
    salted butter
  • 3 lbs.
    YORK Minis Peppermint Patties (Item# 47225)
  • 10-2⁄3 fl. oz.
    light corn syrup
  • 6 lbs.
    miniature marshmallows
  • 2 lbs. 4 oz.
    additional YORK Minis Peppermint Patties (Item# 47225), cut in half for garnish



Lightly spray one 18x26-inch full sheet pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place pan extender on prepared pan. Measure cereal in large bowl. Set aside.


Melt butter, 3 lbs. (8 cups) YORK Minis Peppermint Patties and corn syrup in large heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows. Cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat.


Pour mixture over cereal, mixing until well coated. Quickly press mixture into prepared pan, using buttered spatula or wax paper. Immediately sprinkle additional halved YORK Minis Peppermint Patties over surface, pressing down slightly. Cool completely. Cut into 2-inch squares. Cover; store at room temperature.
